New York, NY – Stephan Abraham known in the Soca industry by his sobriquet ‘Kuttit’ has just released what many are considering to be a sure-shot party shaker. This comes in the form of the new, fresh off the press Carnival 2012 offering entitled “Young Gal” which has already penetrated several radio frequencies and online portals around the world.

A true groovy Soca contender, Young Gyal is wine-a-holic’s anthem with its catchy, provocative lyrics and addictive drum beats. The track’s interesting yet highly relatable storyline follows a young girl who meets a guy in a fete and upon posing a wining challenge to him; she realizes that she bit off more than she could chew. Young Gal which was produced by famed production team Precision Productions will be featured on Kuttit’s upcoming mixtape titled “Ah Kuttit mih Name”.

Although the name Kuttit is now making its journey towards becoming a household name, the Trinidadian-born, New York based performer has been involved in the music industry for a number of years. Most notably, the young singer-songwriter has made major strides within the Soca fraternity having written songs for artistes such as Shawn ‘Da Mastermind’ Noel and 2011 International Soca Monarch Machel Montano (for whom he wrote the 2009 smash hit “Mesmerize”).

Never shy about using risqué lyrics and innuendo in the creation of his musical material, the bourgeoning Soca talent has ventured into the realm of creative enterprise with his own clothing line aptly titled “Soca, Sex and Alcohol”. When asked about this fashion collection he shared, “Soca, Sex and Alcohol is a lifestyle brand featuring both male and female t-shirts, tank tops and sweaters. It’s clothing made for feting in any part of the world that also has the ability to promote and bring awareness to the Soca genre and culture”.

On the topic of gaining airplay as a relatively new artiste, the mutli-talented entertainer and proud father stated that he believes media houses should give all new music a fair listen before rejecting it, but regardless, this challenge should not limit an artiste’s music promotion process. Kuttit has taken full advantage of social media outlets e.g. Facebook, Youtube and Twitter to take his music to the masses. He has also made his tracks available for online purchase on popular websites such as Itunes.com, Amazon.com and Spotify.com

Kuttit further states, “The message is in my music, as I express myself best that way. However, I would like to thank everyone who has given my music a chance, the support means a lot”.
