Let’s say YEAH to well organized fete
Say YEAH to the most interesting entrance
Say YEAH to feeling spoiled by the variety of food and drinks
Say YEAH to entertaining performances
Say YEAH to YEAH!
As we entered... posing ballet dancers, doll-like look of the models in carnival costumes, the lights and these enormous trees at the entrance created the ambiance of a fairy tale world. Followed by Supligen promo crew greetings and further giveaways of Grainz crisps to Hypnotic drink tasting and bake and shark around the corner, that is just a beginning! There was so much to see, taste and enjoy, it almost felt overwhelming. Then the Hyper All Inclusive section, placed a bit up the hill with a great view on stage and enormous variety of food and drink, from corn soup to Yellow Tail wine. Also surprises like Avon free make up done for the willing in ladies bathroom!! ;-) Quite cool!
I was already very entertained by all the visual teasers and taste buds pleasers just to receive more of a musical pleasure. Starting with Denise Belfon, followed by JW and Blaze ("We Time") who claimed to be ‘the party starters’ as they made the crowd palance. After that K.Rich ("Nothing Less") as a new soca sensation and forever loved Kes the Band with a great, energetic performance. Then short appearance of Nebula868 followed by Swappi 4D with bucket giveaways... very original gesture I have to admit as original as his new robotic image :-) The crowd seemed to enjoy destroying this new original toys hopefully they liked it as much as the song: ‘Bucket’, which I find rocking the place. Finally soca king Machel Montano HD with fresh dancers crew, new songs and new choreography. Excellent!
The crowd was divided by the fence separating two sections, the great thing about it was that both sections had the same kind of access to the stage no matter if you decided to pay extra for being spoiled to all the goodies in all inclusive or just simply came to enjoy performances alone. I was missing a bit of vibes that would carry me away and forget the world... still the fete was impressive in many ways... Let’s say YEAH to ISLANDpeople!!!
