In previous years I’ve attended both events and by far this year was quite different. The 'unity' aspect of these events wasn’t a bad idea after all. This time around there was a VVIP section, and the promoters made sure that apart from the price, the experience didn’t differ much. However, the layout of the venue was typical, nothing too extravagant when comparing the previous years.

On the other hand, for the food, wasn’t too sure if they changed caterers, but it was unusually unsatisfying, the geera pork coming in at number 1 on this dubious list. I am yet to attend an All-Inclusive event where JWB kept following till the end, and this is what helped set "Unity" apart from all the other Southside all inclusive events. Besides the JWB, the premium bar seemed to be stock on everything else. If patrons wasn’t feeling the hard liquor (considering the following day was a work day!), they had other options, one of my favorite, Greygoose cocktails!

Thanks to the bouncer/security (not too certain of this person’s profile), for physically alerting me 5 mins before party done that the "bligh" she was giving me had expired. As for the performances, Kes the Band was, well Kes the Band... only thing new with their lineup was the premiere (or so he claimed) of his 2012 collaboration with Michelle X, “Head Bad (On D Road)”, and Dil-E-Nadan stole the show.
