NY: International reggae superstar Shaggy will be interviewed by the hosts of WCBS 'The Couch' on Wednesday, October 3rd regarding his upcoming performance on the historic "BioLife Sounds of Reggae" concert. The event is slated to take place at the newly constructed 15,000 seat Barclays Center modern multi-purpose arena - the new home of the NBA Brooklyn Nets - on December 12, 2012. Shaggy will also speak about his accomplishments in the music industry and projects he is current working on. The interview is scheduled to air between 7am and 8am on October 3rd.

Live from "The Couch” airs weekdays from 7am – 9am and features a mix of news, talk, lifestyle, and entertainment segments. Live from "The Couch” is hosted by John Elliot, Lisa Kerney, and Carolina Bermudez, who joined the show following a seven-year run as co-host of the New York radio show “Elvis Duran and the Morning Show.”

WCBS - Live from "The Couch" airs on WLNY-TV, channel 10 and channel 55 in NYC. The 5PM, 6PM and 11PM newscasts often re-air parts of the morning segments.

The Sounds of Reggae concert will also feature internationally acclaimed reggae artists Beres Hammond, Maxi Priest and Ali Campbell (UB 40).
