Port-of-Spain, Trinidad, January 16, 2013 -- The energy of Ariapita Avenue has begun pouring into the mas camp of Charm Carnival at 19 De’Verteuil Street in Woodbrook. Bandleaders Robert and Sharon Amar say they are excited about the prospects of this 2013 carnival experience- a first time for their brand new masquerade roadshow they’re certain will blow the socks off the competition. Innovation continues to be the centre of all things Charm related – this as custom built, state of the art drinks trucks have already arrived in Trinidad from overseas.

The Amars and their team at the mas camp have been busy. Planning for this special unveiling has been ongoing for months and with just about one month before the band shows off its colours on the streets of the capital city, the team is confident of an impressive showcase.

Soca artiste Blaxx of the band Roy Cape is billed to be a part of the band on the road. His hits are endless this season and for the Amars and the Charm Carnival team, the soca star’s endorsement of the masquerade band and the magical carnival experience they are guaranteeing, is definitely a positive. Recently Blaxx said he is excited to be a part of the Charm family as he is certain that what’s being promoted, will be executed. “On carnival Monday and Tuesday I will be on the road with Charm Carnival. I can’t wait to be a part of that experience,” said the entertainer.

Charm masqueraders are in for a treat on the road as amid the perks of the band is an assurance that service will be second to none. “Charm masqueraders will not be seen sitting at the roadside having their lunch. We are preparing proper seating arrangements at a suitable location for our patrons so that they can rest, relax, eat and rejuvenate themselves,” said Amar. He is a man who believes in offering the best and many who know him understand that he is someone who lives by his word.

Charm Carnival costumes have gotten the nod of approval from quite a lot of online visitors to the website with many having already registered for sections in the band, inclusive of Mesmerize- a section created by the wife of soca artiste Blaxx, Jemima Stewart. It’s quite a move for the budding female entrepreneur whose husband has benefitted for years from her nurturing spirit, and highly praised ability to take care of her family and husband.

With the season and the mas camp buzz in high gear, the Charm Carnival team is encouraging mas lovers to try something that’s bound to peak their carnival interest for years to come. “Once they play with us this year, there’ll be no turning back- and that’s a confident guarantee,” said Amar.
