Introducing for the first time ever in Hollywood.... drum roll please.... lights, camera, action: LACF's Yellow & White Party 2013!  The venue, Room 86, is a favourite spot for me to wind down from a hard week at work and to get my dose of reggae music but I was more than eager to attend this event to wine up to meh Soca music, fog up the place and to spread meh hands and leggo. I must add that DJ Stephen, DJ Eternal Vibes and Giselle D' Wassi One clearly exceeded my expectations and even though the place was filled to capacity without much elbow room, "a little wine never hurt nobody" and I didn't hear any complaints either.. heehee!!

The dance floor was the place to be!! DJ Stephen and DJ Eternal Vibes kept patrons wining low, hands in d air and spread apart with throw back favourites and C2k13 anthems to keep the adrenaline pumping and waistlines moving. Everyone looked lovely in their yellow and white attire which contrasted well against the dark décor of the room. Celeb spotted: Big shout out to Lyrikal who was very involved in the crowd's anti-stush behavior and was seen in the middle of the bacchanal.

The venue is well known for its reggae vibes, private screenings, film locations and nightclub. It is easily accessible from main streets and freeways. Located at the corner of Ivar & Hollywood Blvd, it offered valet parking, street or lot parking for a small fee of $6. Room 86 had various rooms with DJs spinning reggae, soca, hip hop and R&B so patrons could move easily from one room to the other to enjoy the array of mixes. The owner of the club must have sensed the need to put the soca lovers in the open patio and adjoining lounge as the patrons heated up the place with their intense energy, sizzling dance moves and non-stop vibes! Everyone instantly went into pump mode the minute DJ Stephen played the first mix.Talk bout an Anti-Stush crowd!

Room 86 had cash bars strategically placed at the entrance and throughout the club. They were well stocked and well-staffed. Getting drinks were quick and easy. Thanks to Qbwoy for taking care of TJJ. Our complimentary drinks were much appreciated. Servers were available for bottle service both in the lounge and patio with tables starting at $100.
