Kingston, Jamaica - High flying dancehall artiste Mr. Vegas on Friday (August 30) appear on the BET hit show 106 & Park.

Mr. Vegas, who is basking in the attention since the release of Standing on the Sun, his collab with R&B Superstar Beyonce, says the appearance is another step in continuing his musical journey, “This is good. The world continues to support the music I put out. Bruk it Down is still killing the airwaves internationally and Party Tun Up is making its mark. I am happy that my music is standing front and centre and people are continuously enjoying the songs I release”.

Mr. Vegas, who shot the segment on Monday (August 19), is in Europe where he performed at the Rototom Sunsplash in Spain on Tuesday. He will also appear at several venues including; the Festineth Park Festival in Belgium on Friday, August 23, Gatecrasher in Birmingham, England on August 25 and the Scandinavia Festival in Denmark Friday, August 30.

The artiste says these shows are in advance of the release of his next album, Bruk It Down 2.0, which will be released worldwide on September 24, “this album has 16 tracks such as Bruk It Down Soca Remix, Come Here Bubbler and Give it to Her. I will be releasing the video for Come Here Bubbla and Give it to Har in the first week of September when I return from Europe. After that it’s just strictly promoting the album”.

With the success of Bruk It Down, Standing on the Sun and other tracks such as Party Tun Up, Mr. Vegas says the fans should take the credit for keeping him relevant in the dancehall space and giving him the credibility to continue touring internationally.
