Anthony Anderson and other Hollywood Stars confirmed to attend the star-studded Weekend.
Montego Bay, Jamaica, October 8, 2013. OCEAN Style commits to a weekend of Glamour and all that it embodies, opulence, grandeur and luxury for the 2013 staging of its annual FashionShowcase. The OCEAN Style FashionShowcase Weekend offers up a wonderfully decadent blend of haute couture fashion, celebrity golf, parties and nightlife in Jamaica’s second city from October 31 to November 3 2013 transforming it into the Mecca for all those with an appreciation for high-style and high-living in the Caribbean.
Now in its sixth year, the event forms part of a strategy aimed at entertaining the very discriminating voyager who will only be wooed by the best of the best of everything. “The FashionShowcase Weekend is an opportunity to expose the very best that the Caribbean has to offer. We are very proud Caribbean citizens and our overreaching focus has been to be the voice and embodiment of ‘the good life in the Caribbean’” states Douglas Gordon, Editor-in-Chief, OCEAN Style. Gordon added, “the model appears to be working as we see familiar faces from one year to the next with many of the stars and influencers that we’ve invited returning regularly and developing their own ties and relationships. We are now exploring ways to leverage the event, via new elements, with the intention of supporting designers and the industry to add direct commercial benefits and overall create an unparalleled Caribbean weekend of fun.”
Anthony Anderson, known for his roles in the Hollywood hits Scream and Transformers has grown to appreciate the event to such an extent that he is be adding another soon-to-be-revealed dimension to this year’s staging through a partnership with OCEAN Style.
The fashion-forward and fabulous from the region and beyond have come to look forward to the annual uber-sophisticated, weekend affair. OCEAN Style’s weekend of glitz, glamour and golf gets underway with the all-white soiree on the Sandals Cay on Friday evening and quickly changes gear to the OCEAN Style Celebrity Golf Invitational at the Tryall Golf Club the following morning. Saturday evening is reserved for the weekend’s “piece-de-resistance” the OCEAN Style FashionShowcase followed by PAPARAZZI, the After Party. The event closes with a Pop-Up fashion village on Sunday 3rd to be to be held at the Montego Bay Convention Centre.
