New York, New York (February 4, 2014). With a musical story starting long before the birth of Tarrus Riley, whose father Jimmy Riley was a member of Uniques and Shane Brown whose great uncle, Duke Reid was an engineer at Treasure Isle Studio, many can say Tarrus Riley 5th album, Love Situation was destined to happen.

Inspired by a track "Young Heart" off of his second album Contagious. Love Situation explores the musical space that can be enjoyed by music listeners of all generations. Love Situation resembles the classic sound of Jamaican Rocksteady, modernly produced in a well balanced mix of a modern day artist paying homage to his roots.

Tarrus Riley 5th album is a tribute to the 60s during the infamous Treasure Isle studio days. Listening to this album you will notice the use of sampling  & updating John Holt & the Melodians, Alton Ellis, & the Conquerors with guest spots from Big Youth, U-Roy, Konshens, Mr. Cheeks of the Lost Boyz, Whippa Demus and Dean Fraser.

Love Situation embodies rocksteady, with a modern voice. The album is produced by Dean Fraser for Cannon Productions and assisted by talents such as Shane C. Brown of Juke Boxx Productions, as well as Mitchum Khan Chin and Jordan McClure, the record was mixed by Shane C. Brown along with Romel Marshal and mastering was done by Grammy Award winning engineer Michael Fuller.

Tarrus Riley has struck a chord with Love Situation. One person states "Love Situation is a true testimony to the resilience and timeless quality of the greatest era of Jamaican music. great rhythms, engineering, production and of course the stellar vocal work of 'Singy Singy' attest to the fact that quality reggae music is alive and well in the minds, hearts, and dancing
