Bacchanal Jamaica gears up for yet another highly anticipated fete, Bacchanal Jouvert, this Friday, April 25. The Mas Camp –home of some of Carnival’s most memorable moments will host the return of Kingston’s biggest paint party after a phenomenal Beach Jouvert showcase this past weekend. The Appleton sponsored event marks the beginning of the final lap for Bacchanal’s 2014 season.  Soca enthusiasts can look forward to more paint fun and great entertainment followed with a mini road march. The 2014 staging will feature live performances by super group, Kes the Band and the ultra-talented Patrice Roberts.



Kes the Band, who are notorious for their high energy performances, are expected to wow patrons with hits such as “Wotless”, “Ah Ting”, “Weh Yuh From”, as well as the 2014 singles “True Masquerader” and “Bad Habits”. The Trinidadian group, which burst onto the soca scene in 2005, quickly attained international acclaim for their seductive fusion of genres such as soca, reggae, rock and soul. Soca princess, Patrice Roberts most famously known for the single "Light it up" is also sure to impress patrons with her lovable persona.
 
DJ Private Ryan, will make his first Bacchanal appearance for the year at the paint filled event. The popular Trinidadian selector is well known for his versatility and intrinsic gift of satisfying the expectations of his audience. Local favourite, DJ Smoke who has had a phenomenal season will also rock the turn tables, along with Back to Basics.

Headline sponsor Appleton will continue to keep fans intrigued with branded memorabilia. Tickets for Bacchanal J'ouvert are on sale at Pita Grill, Megamart Kingston and Portmore locations as well as Ammar's King Street, Village/Mall or Sovereign outlets.
 
The 2014 edition of Bacchanal Jouvert is sponsored by Appleton, Digicel, The Jamaica Observer, Television Jamaica, Fame 95FM, RE TV, RJR 94FM and Sparkles Productions. Bacchanal Jamaica will cap off the 2014 season with the annual Road Parade schedule for Sunday, March 27.
