
Trinidad and Tobago gymnasts Marisa Dick and William Albert both earned podium finishes at the 2014 Commonwealth Gymnastics Invitational, which took place at the weekend in Perth, Scotland. Albert, a 23 old based at the University of Iowa won Gold in the Rings (13.900) while Dick picked up three medals – Gold in Uneven Bars (13.200), Silver on Balance Beam (13.300), Bronze on Vault (14.050) and Bronze in the All Around competition (72.950).

Before she attends the Commonwealth Games, Marisa Dick will first compete at the Canada Nationals in May, as the top gymnast in the province of Alberta. Another gymnast Khazia Hislop, who trains at the Brestyan’s American Gymnastics Club in Massachusetts is expected to represent her country at the US Nationals, also in May. All three gymnasts will participate at the Trinidad and Tobago National Championships in from 6-8 June.
