The sun was blazing hot on Memorial Day but the people came out for one of Brooklyn's biggest annual event. Shhh was no secret! The word had gotten out and it seemed like the thousands arrived to have a good time. The fire squad was in full gear giving shots of alcoholic energy, whinning down the stage, and bringing good vibes. Shhh continues to grow larger and larger each and every year, and the line up of performers is just the icing on the cake!

Shhh brought out a nice mixture of people, that were surely ready to take on the summer. Whether you came prepared to whine down low in your cut off shorts, or you were socializing in your brightly colored spring couture . . . Shhh had a place for you and your crew to hang. Whether it was under the VIP styled white cabanas, or posted up at a brightly colored tall boy table, you felt welcomed and felt like you belong.

Pulse 48 is the perfect space for Shhh. The open yard space is easily accessible, and parking was not too worse. A sea of people fit easily into the space and the stage was viewable from any corner of the complex, even from the bar at the back end.

Brooklyn's hottest DJs brought real vibes to get the party going with a mixture of Reggae, Dancehall, Soca and some EDM hits. The party really heated up when the performances began around sun down. 5 Star Akil, Farmer Nappy, Lyrikal, Kerwin Dubois, Blaxx, and Benjai took the stage and caused pure chaos in the place, as partygoers relived carnival. One of the shows highlights was surely when Lyrikal brought on the youngest whinning specialist 'the big show', and friend to perform.

Highlight number two definitely had to be the People's Champion stripping all the way down to perform within his 10 minute set. Each performer brought their own vibe to the masses and it was well received. The vibe was soo good that the crowd lingered after to enjoy some sweet rocksteady reggae vibes to cool down.
