Miami, Fl - Music is a universal form of expression. The African Diaspora Dance and Drum Festival of Florida is a staple event that embraces this notion and provides for the artistic community landscape of South Florida.

Delou Africa, Inc. has brought some of the most renowned national and international dancers and drummers to South Florida for the festival five years running. This year they have curated a festival that includes some of the biggest talents from the African Diaspora including; Senegal, Cuba, Haiti, Guinea, Cote Ivoire and Mali.

The festival is a key cultural and educational experience in traditional African dance and drumming for anyone interested in the arts. The classes are designed and structured for the novice, intermediate, and experienced dancers or drummers. The festival will be held September 5-7, 2014 at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex and iTech@Thomas A. Edison Educational Center.

The Concert Extravaganza will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 8:15pm and is set to be even more exciting than previous years. The concert’s new home is iTech@Thomas A. Edison Educational Center (Theater)-6101 NW 2nd Ave Miami Fl 33127. Admission is $20. Tickets can be purchased at http://adddff.delouafrica.org/

The Children's Village will also be held at iTech@Thomas A. Edison Educational Center on Saturday and Sunday. It will feature free dance, drum and Children's martial arts workshops. There will also be face painting plus arts and crafts.

A free Better Living Community Symposium will take place on Saturday, September 6th from 9:00am-11:00am at iTech@Thomas A. Edison Educational Center. The topic is Health and Nutrition: You Are What You Eat
