YoPro Global puts a spin on their Networking events and introduces a “battle-royale” competition between two Trinidad and Tobago innovators

Mirriam-Webster defines Intrapreneurship as a corporate executive who develops new enterprises within a corporation. Other than the last three words, the rest of that definition is the same as an entrepreneur. So what’s the difference? And, which one am I? You’ll be surprised to learn that entrepreneurs need and value intrapreneurs, while intrapreneurs learn a lot of what they know from entrepreneurs. For its next networking event, YoPro took this topic and created an experience like no other.

YoPro is treating its Trinidad and Tobago community to a fun experience as it hosts its next educational Networking event, this time, in Chaguanas.  The event will showcase two of Trinidad’s most creative and innovative minds in a “Battle-Royale” format as they debate and discuss what the differences are between Intrapreneurship and Entrepreneurship.  The experience was designed for anyone who wants to be an innovator or creative mind in their own field.

The event takes place on Thursday 19th March 2015 at Chuck E Cheese in Montrose, Chaguanas from 6:30pm – 10pm.  Guests will have the opportunity to network, join teams and participate in the discussion activity while they mix and mingle with other key influencers and individuals during the evening.  With the event being hosted at such a different venue, YoPro is creating an environment that transcends the typical social events that you find.

As with all its networking events, YoPro guarantees that every attendee will meet at least two people they did not know before, thereby expanding their professional circles, and opportunity for success. In addition, attendees will have the chance to meet a seasoned professional who just might be able to help with a project they’re working on, or with something they need. This is YoPro’s promise at its events.

YoPro Global’s CEO, Dr. Ty Richardson remarks, “I am especially excited about this YoPro event because we will have two innovative minds “duking it out” to find out why being an Intrapreneur or an Entrepreneur is different, or seen as better; a topic near and dear to me having spent 16 years in a multinational corporation as an intrapreneur, before leaving it all to establish YoPro and become an entrepreneur.  I’m particularly looking forward to refereeing the match between the two and getting the yopros in the room involved.”

YoPro Trinidad and Tobago’s Board Member Jade Brown adds, “We’ve come a long way in showing young professionals in Trinidad and Tobago, that it’s possible to pair an entertaining evening with education and new contacts. This event allows us to get even more creative as we continue to become more innovative ourselves.”

Advance tickets cost TTD$125 and on the night at the door guests will pay TTD$200.  To purchase tickets and access more information about the event, check out YoPro’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/yoprott, or by contacting Brett and Ty at 362-3945.
