Dancehall star Spice is undoubtedly one of the most popular female stars the genre has produced.

For over a decade Spice has proven that she is worthy of her place in the annals of Dancehall music by consistently churning out massive hits and unforgettable stage performances.

Her impressive discography includes Dancehall anthems such as Jim Screechie, the controversial Ramping Shop which was done in tandem with Dancehall Kingpin Vybz Kartel and the 2014 monster hit So Mi Like It.

The vivacious deejay whose real name is Grace Hamilton has done it again with her latest release titled Needle Eye. The song that was produced and released by BMG Music is currently blowing up the airwaves.

“When I was in the studio working on this project, and I listened to the rhythm it just gave me this vibe that took me back to the old-school Dancehall days. I immediately started vibing Shabba Ranks’ song called Needle Eye; that’s where I got the inspiration to write my song,” said Spice.

The video for Needle Eye was directed by Extreme Arts. It was released on the 22nd of October, since then it has received over 300,000 thousand views on Spice’s Vevo Channel @spiceofficialVevo.

“From the moment I recorded the song I came up with the concept for the video. I decided to do something different and exciting.  The old school Dancehall fashion and setting along with the Cinderella intro has caught on with the fans; they love it. Xtreme Arts did a wonderful job of bringing the whole concept to life,” said the artiste.
