KES Teams Up With Singer, Songwriter And Producer Chris Hierro For Soca/Latin Track 'Body Talk'

Tuesday 24th November 2015 - One thing for certain - KES is never afraid to test their musical boundaries and delve into new genres. This is clearly evident with their new release BODY TALK. A Soca/ Latin/ Merengue fused track that will surely have the crowds dancing away during this carnival season. Starting as a ROCK BAND, the core KES group Riad, Hans, Jon and Kees have many hits under their belt from Pop to Rock, Reggae, to Soca, but never worked on their own Latin influenced track. This changed when Arturo Martinez, an NYC based agent in the Latin Market for over 15 years introduced the band to Chris Hierro. Arturo worked with Ruben Blades, El Gran Combo, Tego Celderon, Wisin Y Yandel and Victor Manuelle and countless others. Arturo has been part of the Question Mark Entertainment Team since 2011 and works closely with KES.
Raised in both New York and The Dominican Republic, Chris Hierro has been writing and producing music from the age of 14 and has been highly influenced by his father: a successful music producer and songwriter in his own right with the group "La Gran Manzana".
Through his respect and interest in the multitude of music genres Chris was exposed to growing up in New York, he has developed a keen ear for Jazz, Hip Hop, Dance and Rock music. This later lead him to start a band called Taxi Amarillo, with whom he performed on some of NY's most prestigious stages like Radio City Music Hall, B.B. Kings and the popular ‘Summer Stage’ series in Central park.
Chris has also worked with and toured as a keyboardist and background vocalist for some of Latin music's most legendary stars such as: Jerry Rivera, Obie Bermúdez and multi Grammy Award winner Alejandro Sanz, Toby Love and French Montana
As KES gears up for his third Annual Tuesday on the Rocks Concert, themed “Where the World Meets”, which takes place on Tuesday 2nd February 2016, this song will surely be heating up the carnival fetes and radio stations!

Martes 24 de noviembre de 2015 - Una cosa es cierta - KES no tiene miedo de probar sus límites musicales y profundizar en nuevos géneros. Esto es claramente evidente con su nuevo tema "Body Talk". Una fusion de Soca y Merengue que seguramente tendrá la multitud bailando distancia durante esta temporada de Carnaval. Comenzando como una banda de rock, el grupo central KES Riad, Hans, Jon y Kees tienen muchos éxitos en su haber desde el pop al rock, reggae, y Soca, pero nunca trabajó en su propia influencia Latina. Esto cambió cuando Arturo Martinez, un agente basado en Nueva York desde hace más de 15 años presentó la banda a Chris Hierro. Arturo ha trabajado con Rubén Blades, El Gran Combo, Tego Celderon, Wisin Y Yandel y Víctor Manuelle entre muchos otros y ha sido parte del equipo de Question Mark Entertainment desde 2011 donde trabaja con KES.
Criado en Nueva York y la República Dominicana, Chris Hierro ha estado escribiendo y produciendo música desde los 14 años y ha sido muy influenciado por su padre: un productor de música exitosa y compositor por derecho propio con el grupo "La Gran Manzana.
A través de su respeto y el interés por la multitud de géneros de la música Chris ha desarrollado un oído agudo para Jazz, Hip Hop, Danza y música rock. Tambien lo llevó a comenzar una banda llamada Taxi Amarillo, con la que lleva a cabo en algunos de los más prestigiosos escenarios de Nueva York como Radio City Music Hall, BB Kings y la popular serie 'Summer Stage' en el Central Park.
Chris también ha trabajado y realizado giras como tecladista y vocalista de fondo de algunas de las estrellas más legendarios de la música latina como: Jerry Rivera, Obie Bermúdez y multi ganador del premio Grammy Alejandro Sanz, Toby Love y French Montana.
Como KES se prepara para su tercer concierto anual llamado "Tuesday On The Rocks", con el tema "Donde el mundo se reúne", que tendrá lugar el Martes 02 de Febrero 2016, esta canción seguramente estará calentando las fiestas de Carnaval y las estaciones de radio!
