2 Time Grammy award winner, Cuban-American singer, Jon Secada, will be the featured international performer at 2016 Ladies Night Out Mega Concert  Lucky 13 Edition, presented by Randy Glasgow Productions (RGP).

It has become customary for RGP to feature international performers on a night when the women of Trinidad and Tobago are featured and serenaded.

In 2013, it was international recording star Brian McKnight, on Valentine's night in 2014,the women were serenaded by Grammy Award winner Peabo Bryson and in 2015 by emerging reggae star, Romain Virgo.

LNO Mega Concert is one of the world's largest women's event and patronized by thousands of local ladies and those from several Caribbean nations, USA and Great Britain.

LNO 2016 will be held on Saturday, 23rd January 2016 Hasely Crawford Stadium, Mucurapo, and will also feature several of this country's leading superstar performers and bands.

Among them are, 2015 Groovy Soca Monarch, Olatunji Yearwood in a special concert performance dedicated to his late mother, actress Mairoon Ali, Kes the Band, Bunji Garlin, Faye-Ann Lyons and the Asylum Kings, Nadia Batson and Sass, Antigua soca king,Ricardo Drue, Shal Marshall, 3RD Bass and Nikki Crosby.
2016 Grammy Awards nominee for Reggae star, Jah Cure will also be on the play bill of LNO.

In 2015, the 12th Anniversary of LNO, 12 Lucky women each walked away with a Door Prize of $12,000. In 2016, the 13th Edition, 13 Lucky women will each walk away with $13,000, stated RGP press release yesterday.

Jon Secada, originally known as Juan Francisco Secada Martinez, was born in Cuba but raised in Hialeah, Florida, from the age of 12. He has so far won several international music awards including two Grammy Awards and sold over 30 million albums since his English language debut album in 1992.

Secada's music fuses soul, pop, and Latin percussion. He has worked as a songwriter for platinum selling mega stars, Gloria Estefan, Jennifer Lopez ( "Baila"), Ricky Martin ( "She's All I Ever Had"), Mandy Moore and others.

Secada got his big musical break in the late 1980s when  Gloria Estefan and her producer husband hired him as a background vocalist. It was then he started composing music for Estefan. He was eventually given the opportunity to perform as a solo act - a chance that led him to stardom.

In 1991, Secada changed his first name from Juan to a more marketable Jon. His major hits included "Just Another Day", "Angel", "I Am free", "Do You Believe In Us", and "If You Go".

Secada has also performed with opera legend Luciano Pavarotti and recorded a duet with Chairman of the Board, Frank Sinatra.
