Tuesday, March 31 – Castries, St. Lucia:
The West Indies and England cricket teams landed in St. Lucia on Monday March 30th and are all set for the final Digicel ODI to be held at the Beausejour Stadium on April 3rd, 2009.  The teams arrived Monday from an exhausting game in Barbados the day before.  Digicel, supporter of cricket in the Caribbean since the company’s inception and sponsors of the West Indies team and the Digicel Series 2009, welcomed the teams to the island in the wee hours of the morning yesterday.

Digicel St. Lucia’s Marketing Manager, Kerchelle Jn Charles, who was present to welcome the team at the Bay Gardens Beach Resort commented: “Without question Digicel’s support of and relationship with the West Indies Cricket team extends beyond the boundaries of financial support.  Digicel is fully committed to ensuring the holistic development of the West Indies team, their growth and development and the accessibility and enjoyment by all Caribbean people.” 

This upcoming Digicel One Day International on Friday, will determine the winner of this Digicel ODI Series as it is currently tied 2-2.  Both teams are seeking to emerge as winners in what promises to be an exciting game this Friday.
