Xhosa Barbados launches their Barbados Crop Over Masquerade Band for 2018 with its signature Cooler Party on Sunday April 15, 2018 from 4 p.m. at the National Conservation Commission's Botanical Gardens, adjacent to its headquarters at Codrington, St. Michael, (opposite the West Entrance of the National Stadium).

This year’s theme ‘Circle of Life’ explores the trials of life including the renaissance of all that is Xhosa Barbados. Captured by our team of regional creatives, this year’s production weaves the tale with the deities that control and guide our fates and destinies, life's highs and lows and our resolve to make all negatives positive. As such, this is the story of life. An exciting cycle of energy, dynamism; erratic, brilliant and never dull.

Xhosa Barbados' launch follows the exciting Xhosa Cares philanthropic initiatives, the newly launched 'Xhosa in the Classroom' & the annual 'Xhosa Crews Treasure Hunt.'

An advocate for honing and celebrating homegrown and regional talent in the festival craft, Xhosa Barbados has once again hosted the very interactive Xhosa Design Challenge.
