Port-of-Spain, Trinidad. May 15th, 2018 - Reggae veteran, Clifton Bailey who’s best known by his stage name, Capleton, has been given the all clear to travel following Monday’s court appearance in Jamaica. He will perform in Trinidad at the INFERNO concert event on June 9th at the Jean Pierre Complex.

“We are incredibly relieved that Capleton’s situation still allows him the opportunity to travel and please his fans worldwide. We stand in solidarity with him as he fights for vindication in a case that seems to be embroiled in extortion,” said an organizer of the INFERNO concert event. “This man is innocent until proven guilty,” he added.

Capleton’s music has spanned decades. Songs like, ‘Jah Is My Everything,’ ‘Critics,’ ‘Wise Up People’,’Bad Mind’ and countless others have kept this artiste ranked among the highest in Jamaica’s reggae and entertainment culture. Trinidad and Tobago’s people are waiting with bated breath for his arrival in this country and even amid allegations brought against him, many have recalled that his music, often a testimony of how reggae artistes live their lives, has always preached positive energy. “We were prepared to deliver another high caliber artiste in his place, for the concert, if he were to be barred from traveling, however we are very happy for him that this situation does not impede his free movement. We are thrilled for his fans that finally, they will see and experience Capleton again, in T&T.

Tickets for the INFERNO concert event are going incredibly fast and organisers warn that there will soon be a price increase, advising that tickets be purchased as soon as possible. Together with Sizzla Kalonji, Busy Signal and Barrington Levy, Capleton will bring the energy like only he can. Dubbed the Fireman, the artist will likely deliver all of his hits at the Jean Pierre Complex on June 9th, something, no fan of good reggae music should miss.
