Throughout 2018, the beloved party brand’s presence was felt in several territories with Roast events being held in Trinidad, Jamaica, Toronto and Barbados. The annual breakfast boat ride affair certainly did not disappoint its sizeable fan-base of Caribbean music and culture lovers when it brought its unmistakable vibes to the Big Apple during the annual Labor Day Weekend festivities.

Roast Cruise NYC took place onboard the Hornblower and attracted a mix of Carnival newbies and seasoned ‘feterans’.

Attendees from Washington DC, Miami, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, Haiti and of course New York City came together to share the Carnival euphoria, the refreshing environment and the pulsating music as provided by Roast’s international DJ cast.

The event’s promoters Barbados-based Roast Entertainment pulled out all of the stops to deliver an easy going atmosphere which included an indoor ambiance for those feters who desired to beat the daytime heat as well as an open-air upper deck for those who came to fully indulge in the jam session.

In addition to a wide range of premium beverages, Roast NYC offered an assortment of complimentary Caribbean and International breakfast options such as fried bakes, plantains, saltfish, eggs, sausages & various fruits.

Keeping the crowd moving was the unbeatable collection of international music selectors which included 2018 Red Bull 3Style finalist Jus Jay, Ryan Sayeed, Tony X and Vibe Nation as well as vibrant percussions from the drumming group Boom Boom Room.
