Toronto, Ontario (Sonique Solutions) – Toronto based events management group Epic Events, gave party-goers a festive reason to brave the chilly Canadian weather at its recent inaugural edition of ‘The Holiday Event’. Even with wintery temperatures, the Epic Events team still managed to receive a positive turnout of loyal patrons who yearned to beat the cold front with a genuine Caribbean-styled food & drink inclusive holiday experience.

Toronto, Ontario (Sonique Solutions) – Toronto based events management group Epic Events, gave party-goers a festive reason to brave the chilly Canadian weather at its recent inaugural edition of ‘The Holiday Event’. Even with wintery temperatures, the Epic Events team still managed to receive a positive turnout of loyal patrons who yearned to beat the cold front with a genuine Caribbean-styled food & drink inclusive holiday experience.

The Heydenshore Pavilion in Whitby, Onatrio (just east of Toronto) was uniquely transformed to suit the holiday season. Epic Events set the scene with its distinct décor, displays and technology resources such as decorated cocktail tables, specialty lighting, big screen projections and even trees. The venue provided a classy, effective and most importantly warm environment that gave an all-in-one feel of both an energetic dinner & dance and an intimate end of year affair.

Upon entry, attendees which included residents of the Greater Toronto Area as well as some out of towners were greeted with a signature welcome cocktail, a superbly decorated venue and lavish food stations which boasted cuisine from local catering connoisseurs ‘The Avenue’ restaurant.

The Holiday Event featured appetizers such as Spring Rolls, Pholourie and bowls of Chilli Chicken & Rice and main courses e.g. Beef Riblets, Roasted Chicken, Spicy Fish, a Potatoes/Vegetable medley and an assortment of desert options.

Additionally, the Holiday Event offered its guests several top-shelf alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including the range of products from the event’s sponsor Carib (Carib & Stag beers, Shandy Ginger and Sorrel). This was complemented by the swift and generous service from the event’s bar-staff.

Keeping the dancefloor action steady and energized were the party’s stellar cast of DJs who delivered the very best in Soca, Reggae, Dancehall, R&B, Disco and Christmas hits.
The talented music mixologists DJ Kevin, GMusic Factory Live and SocaVibes along with entertainment by MC Damian Sogren kept the ambiance festive and memorable.

The 2018 edition of the The Holiday Event gave its fashion-forward attendees an excuse to escape the cold and connect will old and new friends in a lively atmosphere complete with pulsating music, international flair and Caribbean flavour.

The first of this new annual holiday tradition left patrons wanting more and eagerly anticipating upcoming productions from Epic Events.

For 2019, Epic Events will once again be executing its ‘Friends & Family Out Back’ (FFOB) event on July 13th 2019 and its end of summer affair ‘The Cooldown’ on August 24th 2019.
