Dancehall star D’Angel is set to shoot a mainstream video for her upcoming single titled Stress Free.

“This is a big budget project; we’re going all out with this video. We plan to target the international market with this project. Stress Free is already creating a huge buzz on the internet, it’s viral, and we’re going to build on that by dropping a great video. ‘Flava’ and I believe this song has the potential to be a global hit,” said D’Angel.

The video shoot is scheduled to take place on Friday the 10th of May; filming will be done in several sections of Kingston including Barbican, Winward Road, Bulls Bay and Jacks Hill.

Popular Jamaican filmmaker/director Michael Cushnie has been contracted for the project.

“Michael Cushnie is known for his work in the local movie industry, and he’s also a highly reputable music video director. He is a very creative and professional director it’s always a pleasure working with him,” said the artiste.

D’Angel recently launched a dancing competition online to select dancers for the video. The competition is open to both males and females. The winner will walk away with a cash prize of $30,000, the dancer who places second will receive $20,000, and the dancer who places third will get $10,000.

All the contestants will also receive gift boxes from ADHEMP pain relieving products.

Stress Free was produced by international music producer Kemar Flava McGregor and is slated to be released on the 17th of May on McGregor’s Streaming Hub Inc imprint.
