Ricardo Drue

Ricardo was born July 31st, 1985 in Fort Road on the island of Antigua. At the age of 4, he moved to Cocoyea San Fernando, in Trinidad and Tobago where he grew up. He currently resides in Orlando Florida. Ricardo Drue the artist and his musical compositions are influenced through his childhood love of Soca, R&B, Hip Hop and Reggae His first major contribution as an artist came as one of the lead singers of the dance and vocal quartet "Crossovah."

Opening for artist such as Jeffrey Osbourne, Mario, Fat Joe, Sean Kinston, Llyod, Machel Montano, Allison Hinds, Destra Garcia, Patrice Roberts, Red Rat, TOK and so much more. In 2010, Ricardo Drue left Crossovah to pursue a solo career in his first love Soca. He has released two albums "Dreams of my Reality" and "MYTIME" along with numerous innovative music videos to the delight of many fans Fast forward to August 2014 you are looking at the New Power Soca Monarch of Antigua & Barbuda a major achievement in such a short time frame.

Within his 4 year solo career, Ricardo has made strides on his path to success. Signing on as a co-lead singer with the band Roy Cape All stars out of Trinidad and Tobago, becoming a brand ambassador for Digicel Antigua & Barbuda and even having the city of Boston proclaim June 21st 2014, as "Ricardo Drue day" and as previously mentioned winning his first crown. His 2014/15 release "Vagabond" is a runaway hit on the international Soca charts. He followed this up by placing 2nd runner up in the International Groovy Soca Monarch, held in Trinidad & Tobago. He continued 2015 by once again being crowned the Power Soca monarch of Antigua & Barbuda for the second straight year.

His Recent groovy release "Professional" on the groove theory riddim, took Barbados, Antigua and Canada by storm and is also on track to be a runaway hit. With his future endeavors Drue hopes to break the cultural barriers like so many artists have done in the past, all while staying close to his roots. Nothing but blue skies on the horizon for this Artist as the Sky is certainly just the beginning of his limits.
