With minimal formalities, the programme segued into a banquet dinner followed by a social dance. Bedecked in the finest formal wear, the ballroom at the Clifton Hill Beach Resort sparkled with the shimmer of sequinned and bejewelled evening gowns as patrons floated across the dance floor in pairs to the magnetic live performance of Dr. Louis Nurse and his full soca jazz band, Louis and the Lynx. Ballroom dancers blissfully danced the night away to a mélange of classic and contemporary musical genres including calypso, soca, soul, blues, RnB, disco and dance.
