I'm a little concerned about the costumes for next year Trini Carnival... there seems to be a growing trend of a piece of silk or long bead ting that goes between young lady reveler's legs.  I'm not sure how I feel about it. Granted, these costumes are absolutely beautiful and elegant, I am not disputing that at all...I'm just trying to figure out how comfy that's going to be on the road.

I'm also noticing piece of ting in the front but no bam bam coverage whatsoever.  I've started having nightmares about this and have subsequently given up chocolate and pretty much all carbohydrates until February 17th where I will stuff my face with copious amounts of KFC KFC KFC...I'm not sure if I'm that bold as to wear a tanty without a bead, a feather, a nothing!  My brow actually has beads of sweat on it as I type because of the fear I'm feeling about this!

Maybe I should just get a bamsie pack, or play frontline....but then there will be no wines, no juks for me...it's like a frontline costume is a chastity costume in some ways.  No action there. Not possible...I sometimes see man them tryin to move feathers out of the way to get to a gyal's bamsie to give a quick wine and then retreat quietly with a steups to a next masquerader.

Confusion....

Piece of ting, or no piece of ting? What do you think?
