Christ Church, Barbados – Jun, 2008... Barbadian Entertainment ambassador Lil Rick affectionately known as “Hypa Dawg” has released two major tracks for the 2008 Cropover Season.

The energetic Soca performer who also hosts the popular radio show, “The Guinness Rush Hour” every Saturday on HOTT 95.3 FM has in the past given us memorable favourites such as “Down Behind the Truck”, “Do Fuh Do” and “Til Morning Come”.

However, as the Party Monarch Champion of 2007, Rick has unleashed two unique tracks that will clearly position him in the competition race for 2008.

The first track entitled, “Bus A Wine” paints the vivid picture of the Caribbean party atmosphere. Containing lyrics and rhythms which are tailor made to inspire certain gyrations, this song is already receiving positive reactions from music lovers and is being referred to as a perfect “chippin” song for the road on Grand Kadooment Day.

Lil Rick’s second release, “Breakaway” is a musical collaboration between the “Hypa Dawg” and his son “Unda Dawg”,
This father-son project is just as the title suggests, a true breakaway song which illustrates the feeling of freedom and release of inhibitions that masqueraders and fete goers experience each festival season.
