This is the sixth edition of this event entitled Roots, Rock, Reggae and well trust me it full of reggae! It was missing the roots! It definately had NO Rock ... sorry! (Please read literally!)
CROWD:
As usual Busspepper attracted all the gorgeous caribbean people who reside in London who left their abodes to attend a party and shake their batty! A very intriguing blend of fashion and class which always reminds you how much the Caribbean is a definite cosmopolitan society! On the cheeky side ... look through the pictures and tell me if you would not want to take home one person from that party and have your way with them!
VENUE/ACCESSIBILITY:
Agenda is a boring venue however it is located in the city and the bar is huge. Located in the city means that before 12 pm when the transportation system shuts down i.e. the underground, for all the non-drivers, yes it is easy to get to however ... for the non-drivers it is also a pain in the so and so to get home from ... normally having to take two buses sometimes three! Bring back Abacus I say!!
VIBES:
With the DJs on the ones and twos spinning all sorts of music from reggae roots, to dancehall, to hip-hop and soca - people were dancing and having a good time. There were some leaving shenanigans and some birthday celebrations on tonight and the balloons added to the "sparkle" of what is called Roots Rock Reggae! Uhm ... I want to know where the lollipop dem come from!? I saw quite ah few people with some stick and sweet ball in their mouth ... BRAPS!!!
SERVICE:
Watch meh ... I do not know if is me ... but I think is pure love TJJ gets when we go to any event ... from the beautiful door ladies and especially my favourite tall dark and slender one with the baby bamsee skin ... to the well mannered and attractive bar staff to the cool doormen ... Service was cool tonight! Just cool ... Easy like sunday morning somebody will say!!
COST/VALUE:
Wth £10.00 before 10:30 pm and £15.00 after for entry - I see no issue here - These are the regular central london prices and you know what if yuh cheap ... stay in yuh bloody house!! BTW, I still won't pay £15.00 to enter a club though ... HAHAHAHAHA
A cool relaxing night to socialize and breeze and skin out! No regrets - Did not waste anytime!

Ok Mr. TJJ you win, we going back to Abacus for Forbidden on Oct 24. It gonna be hotter than last year and pa, we going for nothing less that excellent this rounds! haha bring on de fishnets!
