TJJ definitely had a blast and what was better yet ... we were invited guest and so there was no commitment for us to work. Ha ha. Yea I know we did anyways :-) Special thanks to Dwayne out of the Red Ants committee for having us.
CROWD:
This was a lime and not a party ... or so we thought. In our minds, we were expecting a small gathering of the event's promoters and other specially invited guest. That all changed when a large group of stunning women all clad in black stepped on de scene. A definite head turner for nuff man!! Then as the night proceeded, the crowd continued to grow and in a pleasant way too. Every time we looked around we saw more sexy women dressed trendy as ever. How does the song go ... "ah got ah feeling ..."
COST/VALUE:
Cost ... humm. The entire night's enjoyment was at the expense of the promoters. Guest did not have to spend one red cent at this lime. Could not have gotten better than that we say!!
VIBES:
As we were saying it was a lime, and for a lime it had plenty vibes. Everyone was mingling, socializing and enjoying themselves. The music set was controlled by DJ Joy Juice who threw down a couple numbers that had some folks brukking out every now and again.
VENUE/ACCESSIBILITY:
The Venue is relatively easy to find ... just off Wrightson Rd in P.O.S. Parking was available in Tribe Mas Camp's parking lot or along the road side, where there was security monitoring the vehicles. No complaints from TJJ here as we got a BESS park right in front the front gate.
FOOD/DRINK:
Free Food and Drinks was the tag line. At the bar there was wide assortment of premium selections to choose from. Over at the food tent, there was the roasting of a pig and level curry to inveigle one's taste buds. Well you know how Trinis are when it comes to free-ness ... Johnnie went MIA in 2 twos and about that roast pig, we never even saw the poor fellah.
SERVICE:
Service was very good. The bartenders were rather pleasant and quick in taking patrons request. In the food area, it was more of a self serve situation but area was kept tidy and in order.
