5 Minutes With Trini JacobsWe caught up with the lovely Trini Jacobs just as she finished her set at the Six Flags Caribbean Concert Series - A Family Daycation in New Jersey. The child of artists Carl and Carol Jacobs, Trini Jacobs has collaborated with Beenie Man, Machel Montano, Tanto Metro and Sizzla just to name a few. With a new album "Love Around the Clock", there's no stopping the beautiful West Indian songstress. 5 Minutes With Trini Jacobs starts right now!

Mix Juice: What is the one thing you can't go on tour without?
Trini Jacobs: My makeup!

Mix Juice: If you could have dinner with anyone dead or alive who would it be and why?
Trini Jacobs: Oh, that would have to be Michael Jackson. He's the greatest and I could learn so much from him. He catered to such a world market, I would take any advice I could get from him!

Mix Juice: Oranges or Mangoes?
Trini Jacobs: Mangoes! But they have to be Julee mangoes!
Mix Juice: Of course!

Mix Juice: Flip flops or Stilettos?
Trini Jacobs: Flip flops! I can wine better in flip flops.
*Le Petit Juice named Trini Jacobs "Wina Juice" because of the waist she was peltin' on stage! Gyul, if you can wine like that in heels, we 'fraid to see what you can do in flip flops!

Mix Juice: What is something your fans don't know about you?
Trini Jacobs: I am extremely quiet.

Mix Juice: What would you be doing if you weren't a singer?
Trini Jacobs: I would be a vet. I love animals!

Mix Juice: What makes you smile?
Trini Jacobs: Animals…People make me smile. Anything centered around love. I hate violence and negative energy.

Mix Juice: If you had a time machine and could go anywhere, where would you go?
Trini Jacobs: I would go into the future! So much has happened in the past that we could learn from, especially from women. Women are so strong. I would love to go to the future with all that knowledge and be better, stronger, and more educated.

Mix Juice: Winin season is just shy of 6 months away. What's your favorite thing about the Carnival season?
Trini Jacobs: Performing and playing mas. After I work hard, all I look forward to is putting on that costume and jumping up. I need those two days!
Mix Juice: The best two days!

And with that, "Wina Juice" was on her way, back to the stage to watch her fellow artistes, Bunji Garlin and Fay-Ann Lyons perform, smiling all the way.

Following the songbird backstage, chippin all de way ... Mix Juice for the TJJ fam ... Out!
