Big respect to Gary & Jamie (Absolute Adventure promotions) for doing it yet AGAIN! Mask was well worth the 3-4 hour drive back from Key West, as we rode in straight from Fantasy Fest! Happy 10th Anniversary MASK!! People will be talking about this party for a hot minute...

CROWD:
As we approached the venue, we could definitely tell that tonight was going to be a goodnight! The woman to man ratio was about 3-1... and we talking real HOTTIES too! And for what surely looked like a 2,000+ crowd, the majority of partygoers were all dressed up for Halloween. From our seXy lady bug hostess at the VIP entrance to the promoters (Jamie Y. was a Judge and Gart Hart... we still guessing ... a Doorman or a Drummer Boy??), and even the All Star DJ cast (Walshy Fire was Usain Bolt and you had Richie D was a Nerdy Jamaican School Boy).

VENUE/ACCESSIBILITY:
This year, Mask was at a new venue ... the So Cool eVenue and Ice Bar. As we pulled up, we were directed into a parking lot (borrowed for the night) opposite the venue - FREE parking ... check! The promoters had set up two entrances - General and VIP - on two different sides of the building, which kept the inflow of partygoers running smoothly. On the inside, the large venue was separated into 2 main sections - 1. Outdoors, which had it's own bar and DJ and 2. Indoors, which included a VIP section and the exclusive and most wicked "Absolute Ice Bar/Lounge" with it's very own Premium Bar! Chillin (literally) in 20 degrees temperature, sippin' on top shelf liquor with good friends was defintely a great party experience. Very nice touch!!

VIBES:
As the dance slowly filled up, everyone made several trips with their Mask Souvenir Bottomless Party Mugs to the bars. And before anyone could say boo, the dance was RAM and the DJs (selectors like Jazzy T of Renaissance Disco, Richie D, LP Walsh & Supa Dups of Black Chiney & Crown Prince) were having a time keeping them entertained playing a nice selection of Dancehall, Hip Hop, RnB and Soca (we could have done with a lil' more Soca). As Walshy Fire & TJJ TV made its rounds through the crowd, it was pure vibes (watch TJJ TV coverage).

FOOD/DRINK:
A VIP ticket meant endless topshelf beverages (Johnnie Walker Black, Appleton Rum, Absolut Vodka, Yellowtaill Merlot, Sutter Home White Zinfandel, Malibu Coconut Rum, Hennessy, Hpnotiq) in the VIP Lounge! But the regular bars also had more than enough selections to keep everyone liqour'ed up and smiling.

SERVICE:
Drinks were served with smiles, and if you got there early enough, there were candy and chocolates laid out on the bar to munch on while waiting on your drinks... I enjoyed a Kit Kat or two! :-) As for the Absolute Ice Bar/Lounge, the staff were extremely accomodating and friendly.

COST/VALUE:
Top Shotta DJs and Six Million ways to Drink for $40! Bang, bang!
