Feliz Cumpleaños *DR. JAY, MARXMAN, NURSE KAREN and SIR PHILLIPS* ... as well as our fellow Scorpios :) xox

CROWD:
When I walked into the building, all I could see were colours waving in the air... every flag you could think of was being represented that night! Everyone was dressed to fete and you could see that the party was already on fyah at 11 o clock! Yes! 11 oclock! Everyone was peltin' waistline and jammin' to de soca sesions!
The venue was raaaammmmed but there were no issues for the night! People were singing, chanting, jumping and waving all in harmony....

VENUE/ACCESSIBILITY:
The venue is HUUUUUGE! Enough room to roam around and lots corners to stay low key.....depending on your vibe! There were numerous parking lots within walking distance so there was no problem in that department... The place was burnin' up but with all the adult beverages passing around, the heat factor quickly disappeared from your thoughts!

VIBES:
If you haven't heard, this edition of Soca or Die was the Surprise Birthday Edition.... Dr. Jay had 3 surprise international artists and 2 Toronto artists ready and waiting to capture the crowd! NOONE knew who the artists were so you could imagine how the crowd was going crazy!
One after the other artists appeared on stage creating chaos in the building! Good chaos that is! lol - Ms. Paige and Slammer Cutter represented for the Canadian posse and Tallpree, Problem Child and Edwin Yearwood bun down the place with insane vibesssssssssss!!!!!

Music was provided by DR. JAY DE SOCA PRINCE (aye aye aye!!), MARXMAN (always on point from KOS), DJ BASS & DJ CHIEF (from Island Breeze), RENEGADE SQUAD (ft. Trikki and Kaiso King), 2 TOUCH (youngest in charge)
and DJ E2 (Orlando's best)... Of course, blessing the mic for the night were E MAN (your girl's voice of choice) and DIRTY DEZ (talkin' de tings dem)...

FOOD/DRINK:
There was no food at the venue however anything you wanted could be found outside....corn soup, bake and shark, jerk chicken and rice and peas! Anything west-indian yuh belly was craving was waiting outside! The bar was stocked with average brands which was great for the pocket!

SERVICE:
The overall service was normal.... bartenders were social and provided us with the right beverages to keep our bodies swaying! The promoters created a really cool atmosphere by turning off the lights and counting down the surprise artists on a big screen... imagine the anticipation yuh cud feel from the crowd! I've never seen anything like that and I must say it was a great concept!

COST/VALUE:
There were advanced tickets for this party that started at $10 and went up to $30....depending on if yuh stick or not is how much yuh paid lol !! All in all, whether it was $10 or $30 .. fetego'ers got more than they paid for!

Did we forget anything? Add your 2 cents below...
