:- The wait is over and Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall is now ready to take Montego Bay by storm.

The first audition for this the third season of Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall will kick off at the Wexford Court Hotel  on Gloucester Avenue in the second city on Saturday December 5 at 9:30 am Sharp. Last year Montego Bay brought out some of the best talent in the competition and in the first season also gave Jamaica the first Magnum Queen of Dancehall, Baby Tash.

The City has a reputation to live up to and assistant producer for the competition Natalie Parboosingh is excited to be back in the second city for the third year: “The talent from the west has always been of the highest quality, every year new talent comes to the fore not only from St James but also from Westmoreland, Hanover, and even as far as Trelawny. The competition seeks to unearth new talent and as such we will continue to return to the west.”

After Montego Bay, Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall auditions will move to Portmore’s Afrodiziac Night Club on  December 12, Leiba's Esso in May Pen on December 19, Amnesia Night Club in Ocho Rios on January 9 and Kingston’s Lime Light  on January 16. All auditions will begin at 9 am with sinjays and deejays vying for a chance to become the 2010 Magnum King and Queen of Dancehall.

Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall will continue its long tradition of exposing fresh strong talent to the masses. The show which has had tremendous success over the past two years has come back fresh and clean with new concepts and an additional sponsor in appliance store Lucky Dollar. Magnum Tonic Wine has returned as headline sponsor of the show with The Star and Television Jamaica returning for a third year.

Also new this year is the addition of Professor Nuts as one of the three judges on the competition. He joins Skatta and Miss Kitty and replaces General Degree.

This year the producers of Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall promise an improved show. With millions of dollars on the line as well as a fast track to dancehall stardom, it is clear that Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall will again be a hit.
