Much love to Red Eye for including the Jungle Juice family in yet another one of their events. Shout out to the line up of DJs that blessed us with an insane vibe to end our weekends, leaving our ears ringing for school and work the next morning. xoxo

CROWD:
Red Eye finally brought their Five Year Anniversary Appreciation party to New York! The people definitely came out to celebrate and give thanks to the Red Eye crew for another year of fetes, hoping for a continuation of the Miami edition. A mixed crowd came out tonight, not rammed with Jungle Juice's NYC regulars but a few of them were peppered in the sea of partygoers. Some people definitely came out in their sexiest get ups, and others were lacking on the sexy scale. What happened? Was it the extremely cold weather on the outside? Check your winter parkas in at the door.

VENUE/ACCESSIBILITY:
The newly renovated Living Room was easy to access and parking was alright this time. The venue was just a bit too small for this party! Red Eye crew is definitely going to move their next New York party to a larger venue. THE NEW YORK CROWD CAME OUT! It got so packed in there, it became impossible to be move around, everyone was whining on top of each other because they had no choice, and breathing was difficult. When the walls begin to sweat, and the ceiling drips water. . . you know its beyond hot in there. It caused us to cut our feteing a bit short :(

VIBES:
Despite the unbearable heat. The vibe was definitely on point! High energy straight through. Back2Basics and PanTrin Vibes warmed it up before Vibesman Redman came and took the crowd to a point of no return. They went mad for the soca, mad for the dancehall, mad for Gully vs. Gaza clashes, and madder for Kelly Clarkson. Text-a-Holic and I are still waiting for the Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga tunes. We shall continue to wait patiently. The crazy vibe for a considerably early Sunday evening could not be broken, anyway or anyhow.

FOOD/DRINK:
Drinks flowed like water. The bar seemed well stocked and partygoers definitely supported.

SERVICE:
Security taking a billion years to check a person before entry is kind of ridiculous. Yes we definitely do want to be safe and have an amazing time, but they really checked each person from head to toe, every nook and cranny, gals and guys alike. It definitely caused an eye roll and a deep sigh, but all was well once we were able to enter. The bar was crowded with people but the bartenders worked as fast as they possibly could to keep everyone satisfied. Kudos to them!

COST/VALUE:
Everyone was free with a complimentary ticket. No wonder it was over capacity. Can't say no to free ;)
