Special thanks to Johnny Q ... TJJ had a blast! It was the first event of its kind and hopefully it won't be the last. We were glad to be present.

CROWD:
Now lets see ... there were folks representing from both the young and older age groups, but they all partied with the same joy and zeal. As usual we all know the young patrons don't come out too early, and so it wasn't until the latter hours of the party did the dance floor fill out. This was a cooler fete with an "anything goes" dress code in effect, so we saw a variety of styles from casual gear like 3/4 pants on some fellas to trendy tops and outfits more so worn by the ladies.

VENUE/ACCESSIBILITY:
Boy Scouts, St. Anns was the venue. Now only if you ever partied at this location before, would you truly notice how much effort was made to transform this open area into what it was. No expense was spared at all! De place look nice ... nice ... nice!! Not to mention that special Xmas touch, topping things off. Upon entering, the VIP was to your left and the main party area on your right. There was a stage erected at the front of the of the main party area with a bar to the back left, food tents to the right and washrooms at the far back. Cleaning crews patrolling all night long also made sure that patrons partied in a litter free environment.

VIBES:
There was a lot of on stage activity in tonight's line up. In the early hours, patrons got to take in some Parang from acts like Los Paraminios and Mucho Tempo. Then came the likes of bands like Hypnotic and Ventures, both mixing up the musical genres and adding Soca into the pot as well. The last band to perform was Karma. Now during their performance it surprisingly began to rain, but with a bit of encouragement, they soon had folks jumping up in the rain and all.

FOOD/DRINK:
On the General Admission side, both food and drinks were on sale. It was a cooler fete though, so most folks came prepared with their own. On the VIP side, it was a whole other story. A well stocked premium bar ... from Johnnie Walker come down! Now lets talk food ... when we walked in, it was a bit strange to see all those dining tables laid out. Had to have a reason right!!?? So we check out the food tent and got the run down of the various sandwiches available. Sounded and tasted just as good ... but we were still a little confused about the tables. Also most folks trying out the hot doubles didn't really pull a seat either. Well at a little after 7 PM is when all of our questions were answered. A wide and variety of dishes started unveiling themselves. VIP patrons were going to have a Xmas dinner here yes ... from ham to turkey, mixed rice, potato salad and fried chicken just to name some ... like its an All Inclusive!

SERVICE:
The service was good throughout the night. Lines were never too long and dealing with the staff was a pleasant experience. For those of you lucky enough to experience VIP ... you were very well accommodated for.

COST/VALUE:
Advance tickets were $100 and at the door admission was $125. Not bad seeing how much live entertainment was provided. We don't think that VIP tickets were sold. In order to get there, you really had to be a very important person :-)
