The Karukera One Love (KOL) is an international company that promotes Caribbean Culture and Music throughout the French West Indies and Europe since 2017.

In collaboration with Caesar’s Army, the first edition of the internationally-acclaimed KOL festival in Trinidad and Tobago will be held on Carnival Friday, 21st February 2020 at Maracas Bay, North Coast.

ESPN Caribbean presents the 2020 NBA All–Star from Chicago Friday, February 14 to Sunday, February 16. On Friday, ESPN Caribbean will air the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game presented by Ruffles at 7 p.m. ET and the NBA Rising Stars at 9 p.m. ET. ESPN will also air the State Farm All-Star Saturday Night on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET and present the 69th NBA All-Star Game on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET. Major Lazer, the internationally renowned EDM trio has released an EP “Soca Storm” with Mr. Killa which features the reigning International Soca Monarch on two songs including the title track “Soca Storm” and “King of the Party”. The EP is not only Major Lazer’s first release of the year but also their first exclusively soca EP or album. “It’s a big deal, soca is poised to be a broader bigger thing and we are working hard to push the culture forward,” explained Major Lazer’s Walshy Fire just days after winning his first Grammy.

Soca songstress Patrice Roberts is in full preparation mode for the second instalment of her annual concert ‘Strength Of A Woman’. The concert is scheduled to take place ‘Under The Trees’ at the Normandie Hotel, St. Anns on February 20th 2020. This year,  the concert is themed “Celebration of Music.” Patrice’s fans can anticipate another stellar performance from her and all her guest artistes appearing on the show.

January has been a great month for Dancehall star Busy Signal! He was the first ever artist to represent his genre on the segment Street Soldiers hosted by journalist and radio host Lisa Evers. The segment was aired on New York’s FOX 5 on Friday (January 17th), appeared on the television stations website and featured on the world famous HOT 97 FM in New York.

With all eyes on Jamaica for Reggae Month, the Jamaica Music Conference (JMC) has turned up the heat with the addition of an amazing ensemble of star headliners to their impressive schedule, including Grammy-Award winner, Diamond artist and actor Shaggy, Founding Father of Hip Hop Kool Herc and super music producer and DJ Walshy Fire.
