Al aka Freshly Squeezed

XEN, the experience of experiences on DC Carnival Saturday that's delivered year in and year out. This is that event that normally separate the party goers to the REAL BACCAHANALIST....and this year...NO EXCEPTION. people came out to get on. I believe it's due to being deprived of the road experience this year resulting in tension in the waist and that need for pace and XEN definitely delivered  

Eyes WIDE shut 7, Dj Hazzard's Annual Birthday Celebration party... is definitely an event not to be missed. I've attended every year but this was my first time I saw it thru the lens and if you saw what I witnessed you'd definitely want to keep your eyes WIDE open, not just for the next installment but also at all the beautiful people this DJ brings out...

Well last year I fell asleep for XEN and so I hear it was a time this year I made it a POINT not to miss it and so happy I did...even with the lack of sleep and drinks I had on the road....

"What the gal dem want?, to play HOOKIE HOOKIE" lol..ok so I wasn't even suppose to be here for a number of reasons but I end up at the fete, camera in hand and SOOOOO I happy they let me in. Shout out to the promoters for letting a man like me in..and so I had a time!

OHHHH GUMMMMM...( so allyuh trini's does spell it?) anyways..is thursday night and I ready for a time. I hear MUSE Lounge having a rooftop lime then a after party. Well I up in dat. well Carnival thursday and I've been practicing my wining all week. I ready!!!

Well it's the Wednesday before carnival and the fete takes place at BAR 7 downtown washington DC for DC Carnival Launch Party. You know, is a week day, the masses of fete goers, the carnival addicts, the soca lovers aren't really all in town as yet...or so I thought.

This event couldnt have a better fitting name. From the crowd, the vibe, and just pure energy Kris's (Dj Majestic) admirers and the admirers of his admirers gave out, it was evident that everyone truly do love ...

Let me tell you, the venue was out there but easy to find and WELL WORTH the drive. Parking was a breeze, sufficient, and the gentlemen working the parking were polite. The midsummer pool side venue was smaller than past years but it was exactly what was needed for this party. The lighting from the pool when the lights went low was the perfect invitation to ....

.... the crowd was a little static at first like they playing shy to buss out the running man. Maybe the drinks weren't flowing for them, maybe they forgot it, but thankfully the pace picked up a little later (in true washington DC style) and they got moving, which lead to ...
