Moore's effort entitled 'Safari' uses lots of cottons and silks to capture the exotic and natural essence one expects from such an adventure.

    A British rapper has landed a part in an upcoming movie based on the life of Notorious B.I.G. London musician and songwriter Poni bagged a role in the new flick after attending auditions in New York. Notorious, which is produced by Sean Diddy Combs and stars Golden Globe-winning actress Angela Bassett, is due for release in January 2009.

    Saturday, September 6; Kingston, Jamaica: After tropical storm Gustav passed over Jamaica, the producers of Digicel Rising Stars offered a gospel-themed night Sunday last, August 31. Though there are no indications that the tropical storm had anything to do with the event, many viewers are very pleased with the latest addition in genre to the talent competition.

    Thursday May 29, 2008 – Scarborough, Tobago... In signature Kaj style, Kevin Ayoung-Julien will titillate the senses when he unleashes WILD THINGS, his newest collection, at the first ever Fashion Week Trinidad and Tobago (FWTT).  On Friday May 30, 2008, the audience at FWTT’s evening of Conscious Fashion will be treated to indulgent infusions of safari and animal print that awaken the feline senses.

    Carivog International UK announces the first round of screening for participants in the 6th Miss Trinidad & Tobago UK Pageant and Cultural Show has begun.  Under the distinguished honorary patronage of Her Excellency Mrs Glenda Morean Phillip SC, former High Commissioner of the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago to London, now Ambassador for the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago to the United States of America and Mexico and Permanent Representative to the Organisation of American States, delegates will be selected during the month of June.  The finals and cultural show will be held at The Bloomsbury Theatre, London on Saturday 20 September 2008.
