Hamilton, Bermuda – October 5th, 2018 - In June 2019, Bermuda Heroes Weekend Carnival will be commemorating its five-year anniversary in grand style. An idea which all began with the BHW Ltd. team’s mission to give the Bermudian people their own unique version of Carnival.

Bridgetown, Barbados (Sonique Solutions) – The recent Labor Day Weekend in New York City was undoubtedly a memorable one. Adding to this mix of unforgettable events was the 2018 edition of the famed ‘Roast Cruise NYC’ all-inclusive breakfast experience which combined a scenic Saturday morning on-the-water extravaganza with a pumping, premium party.

St. Georges, Grenada (Sonique Solutions) – Excitement and anticipation are at an all-time high as premium fete enthusiasts and global Carnival connoisseurs eagerly await the upcoming slate of events being unleashed by promotional outfit Spice Addiction Entertainment (SAE) for the 2018 Grenada ‘Spicemas’.

The Cayman Carnival Batabano Committee (CCBC), the Cayman Islands Mas Band Association (CIMBA), and the Braccanal Committee, stand unified in full agreement with the public's call for the return to "One Carnival" on Grand Cayman, like it had been since Batabano’s inception in 1983 until 2016 when a local group of private investors broke away and started their own separate carnival, CayMas, on Braccanal’s long-established dates.

Since our inception, home has always been where our heart lies; looking at the many spheres of our history, culture, heritage, local life, etc. to tell a story through our portrayals. For our 12th anniversary presentation, we chose to invite our masqueraders to venture across to our sister isle to explore the beauty of this natural piece of paradise, Tobago.

True Carnival people know that it takes multiple elements seamlessly aligning to make a festival spectacular. For a start you need a lively crew and unlimited drinks served with delicious bites like the kind supplied by the Bermuda Pie Company. More importantly, and maybe most importantly, to absolutely enjoy yourself, the events you attend have to be top notch and full of joyous vibes!

Cayman Carnival Batabano is proudly celebrating its 35th anniversary as the national carnival of the Cayman Islands (since 1983), with the ongoing sponsorship and support of the Cayman Islands Ministry of District Administration, Tourism, and Transport.

The vibrant artwork on the T-shirts that will be worn by marshals, teachers, parents, and other volunteers at the Junior Batabano Street Parade and Family Fun Day this Saturday April 28th, 2018, was designed by 15-year-old St. Ignatius student Samruddhi Tagalpallewar, who won the carnival’s annual T-Shirt design competition to capture the honor, along with a digital Table.

George Town Primary School (GTPS) returns to the Junior Batabano parade this year after a few years’ hiatus, thanks to the generous sponsorship of Sagicor Life of the Cayman Islands.
