Estate 101 Benefits Bishops 2018 fete


P.O.S. Trinidad (Sonique Solutions) – For Carnival 2018, the Bishop Anstey High School (BAHS) Old Hilarians’ Association received a major boost from local special events venue Estate 101 for the staging of its annual all-inclusive fundraiser. 

The 2018 Bishop’s all-inclusive fete which usually takes place on the school’s Keate Street, P.O.S. compound was this year held at Estate 101 in Maraval.

His sudden death last year continues to tug on the heartstrings of many, among them, his close friend and fellow radio personality, Ancil ‘Blaze’ Isaac II.

After all the rushing about through the season, chasing fete after fete, attending calypso, steelpan and mas competitions, then masquerading through the streets of the cities and boroughs Monday and Tuesday, one looks forward to something more laid back, up close and personal to cooldown from the Carnival madness.

Date: Thursday, January 4, 2018 - 11:15 -- There will be no Chutney Soca Monarch for Carnival 2018 and the organisers Southex officially announced it's cancellation due to low sponsorship.

"We are saddened by this turn of events and find the timing rather suspicious given recent events. Therefore please be advised that the 2018 Chutney Soca Monarch is hereby formally cancelled due to low government and state support and our inability to fund the venture privately as a result of its sheer size and expense," Southex CEO George Singh told a news conference this morning..

On Saturday 13th January 2018, the annual, all-inclusive Bishop's Fete will be moving to a new, luxurious and premium venue - Estate 101, Maraval. Surrounded by the lush green outdoors, the popular, sought-after Carnival event known for its great vibes, best lime will move from one beautiful garden to another, leaving behind the traditional school grounds for which the fete is one of the primary fundraisers.
