Port-of-Spain, Trinidad. October 1st, 2019 -- It’s official. There’s a brand new carnival concierge service operating out of Trinidad and Tobago this past Saturday, September 28 th , the 1One Nation Carnival outfit revealed its small but effective catalogue of designs for Carnival Monday and Tuesday.

South Florida's youth will showcase pageantry, vibrancy, and pride at the annual Miami Carnival Jr. Carnival. This annual Caribbean family-friendly event fosters Caribbean pride, Carnival tradition, and artistic expression. With multiple Jr. Carnival bands, young masqueraders will be judged based on their creativity, presentation, originality, and craftsmanship of their vibrant and colorful masquerade costumes.

Port-of-Spain, Trinidad. September 27 th , 2019 - Trinidad and Tobago’s carnival is mere months away. A new concierge mas band launches at the Bungalow, in Woodbrook, on Saturday night. All systems are set for the grand reveal of some incredible costumes, being produced by new carnival outfit, 1One Nation Carnival.

Miami, FL - (September 23, 2019) - On Sunday, October 13, 2019, the Miami Broward One Carnival Host Committee will host the 35th annual Miami Carnival celebration at the Miami-Dade County Fairgrounds, from 11 am-11 pm. Named one of the Top 100 Events of South Florida by bizbash.com, Miami Carnival continues its long-standing tradition of providing a kaleidoscope of Caribbean cultures under one umbrella.

Multiple Band Mega Launch


While the large Carnival mas bands, especially the all inclusive ones, seem to be thriving, hosting elaborate launches and attracting premium corporate sponsors, the small and medium bands don’t fare as well.

President of the Trinidad and Tobago Carnival Bands Association (TTCBA), Rosalind Gabriel who founded the most successful children’s Carnival mas band, said the small and medium bands struggle to survive and stay alive from one year to another.

In August, a group of young visionaries from all corners of the world, will tell of an incredible plan to lure hundreds to T&T, annually, specifically for an all inclusive, safe and thrilling carnival experience.

Junior Batabano is set to hit the streets of George Town on Saturday May 11, 2019 with the theme “Once Upon A Turtle”, which pays homage to Cayman’s turtling heritage.

“One of our new marketing initiatives for Cayman Carnival Batabano overall going forward is to reconnect the carnival in creative ways with the original meaning of the word ‘Batabano’, which is the native Caymanian term for the tracks left in the sand when turtles go ashore to nest during nesting season, which typically starts around May each year,” explained the Chairperson of the Cayman Carnival Batabano Committee, Donna Myrie-Stephen. “With the turtle nesting season being all about the emergence of turtle hatchlings, it was only fitting that we launch this new initiative with the Juniors.”

Batabano grows to biggest parade in Cayman


The Cayman Carnival Batabano Committee is thrilled to announce that there will be FIFTEEN (15) masquerade bands, groups, and floats in the Batabano parade this Saturday, May 4, 2019, with up to 4,000 masqueraders anticipated this year.
