Sept 12, 2008, New York, NY—The 13th Annual MOBO (Music of Black Origin) Awards announced its nominees yesterday. The Best New Reggae Artist category includes four VP recording artists (Etana, Mavado, Busy Signal and Tarrus Riley) as well as Beenie Man. Nike and Olympic sprinter Asafa Powell have teamed up with Reggae label VP Records to create a Nike Sport Music workout featuring the exclusive track, “On The Go (Faster Than Bullet),” by one of the athlete’s favorite artists, Mavado.
