His voice lives in records that have made carnival lovers world over, sway infectiously, time and time again. Even as the year 2017 looms, his name is being spoken of- this as one of Soca music’s most vocal supporters who doubles up as an artiste and triples as a radio personality, pays homage to Tambu in music, reviving a song that in 1989 stole the Road March title in Trinidad and Tobago.

November 21, 2016 - Antigua will be represented in a big way come Carnival 2017 in Trinidad and Tobago- this as there’s confirmation today that one of the Soca music industry’s beautiful and talented female entertainers will join the ranks of the Roy Cape band ahead of Carnival 2017.

    Together with the band’s already accomplished entertainers, Blaxx and Ricardo Drue who, as it happens, was born in Antigua, female heartthrob, Tizzy will excite fans of soca music when she lends her amazing vocals to the Roy Cape set in 2017......

With unswaying ambition to make 2017 the best year yet, one of Trinidad and Tobago’s young Soca artistes has been hitting the soca circuit hard, preparing for the Carnival 2017 ride of his life, and so far, he’s left a pretty strong impression.

    POS, Trinidad (Sonique Solutions) – In the lead up to Trinidad and Tobago’s Carnival 2017, a fresh face and sound is emerging from within the Soca arena in the form of singer Na-o-mi Frederick who is gearing up to create a cultural impact with her debut track ‘Waiting For Carnival’. With that understood, the folks at Zig Boi Music, which is manned by Shawn ‘Mr. Spine’ Stewart, have teamed up with what is considered the best music facility in the Caribbean.

    Lyrikal Releases First Album


    Brooklyn NY (11 July, 2016) - Soca artiste Lyrikal will release his first album titled The Journey on July 22. The songs on the album and its title perfectly reflect Lyrikal's maturation as an artiste. "I chose the name The Journey because the album shows my growth and my experiences over the past decade," Lyrikal explains.
