Following the official launch of Elite Model Look Caribbean which took place on the 9th June 2011 at the Hyatt Regency Trinidad, the first leg of the local casting was kicked of at Gulf City La Romain. Somebody say chocolate covered fruitcakes!!!...Fluorescent Afro wigs, caution warning tape, bridge climbing revellers...2011 even saw the release of the giant Leprechaun... all of course,  self confessed chocoholics!!!!

J’ouvert Jamishness (JJ), NYC’s first paint fete, brought to you by Ago Solvo had been advertised for months with JJ representatives in tee shirts in almost every fete throughout Brooklyn.  Then two weeks before the debut event, there was the video which streamed on facebook and the madness ensued.  J’ouvert Jamishness was in the mindset of most as the anticipation began to build.

When TJJ arrived at the venue the party-goers were trickling in ever so slowly. For a brief moment I thought it was about to consider the fete a buss but, even though it wasn’t a wall to wall packed party, the Bananas die-hards refused to disappoint…

Big up to Busspepper for having the sense to change this fete to the Friday night! Just what we needed to get started for Notting Hill Carnival !!! This party should have really been called 'getting you in the mood' and we not talking candle light and Mr Loverman tunes kinda mood...we talking what d girl dem want...Hard wuk!!!
