    MIAMI (October 16, 2019) - Travelers wishing to support the victims of Hurricane Dorian are stepping up to the plate by seizing opportunities to travel to the Caribbean and areas of The Bahamas unaffected by the unprecedented storm. 

    Nearly 100 of the region's outstanding hotels responded to the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association's (CHTA) call for support of a one-month online travel auction last month.

    ST. LUCIA (October 14, 2019) - St. Lucian-owned and -operated Bay Gardens Resorts is inviting visitors to celebrate the island's rich culture and beauty with bargain rates during Creole Heritage Month.

    MIAMI (September 24, 2019) - Working with public and private sector tourism partners in the Caribbean, The Bahamas and South Florida, the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA) and its counterpart the Bahamas Hotel and Tourism Association (BHTA) have launched "Tourism Jobs for Bahamians" to secure temporary employment for these industry professionals.

    Tropical Storm Dorian has now passed, and Saint Lucia has been given the ALL-CLEAR by the National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO).

    To this hour, our hotel partners as reported on by the St. Lucia Hotel & Tourism Association (SLHTA) have fared well with no damages to plant and property. All guests are properly cared for and are safe within their respective resorts.

THOMAS, U.S. Virgin Islands (August 19, 2019) - Virgin Islander heroes Kashief Hamilton and Randolph Donovan, Jr. were honored today by Carnival Cruise Line, The West Indian Company Limited (WICO) and local officials for rescuing a wheelchair-bound cruise passenger who accidentally fell off the WICO dock on St. Thomas last week.
