Well folks whether big or small, one section or several, Trini Jungle Juice is always on de scene covering the Carnival 2K6 band & section launchings. Poison being in the large band category, consists of several sections. Sometimes in order to get greater publicity and awareness, promoters tend to host their own individual section launch, and Immortelle Promotions chose to do so for their 2006 Carnival Mas Presentation "Dreamcatcher".

We got down to Minshalls' Mas Camp at about quarter to nine. Upon entering, the place seemed somewhat deserted. There were a couple of patrons scattered about and maybe they were wandering the same thing that we were... "Where is everybody??!!!" Well maybe it was still early - an of course, Trinis love to be fashionably late! At minutes to ten, more people arrived and it was also at this time that the DJ made an announcement for all patrons to gather stage side. The presentation was about to begin. He then ran a track and began to introduce the lovely models. In a sexy and stylish walk, they graced the stage and posed off, allowing the crowd to see the truly remarkable costumes. The presentation went on for about 15-20 minutes, after which time the models went into the crowd and gave partygoers an up close and personal view.

There was suppose to be a special surprise guest artist as well, but unfortunately we left shortly after the presentation so we didn't get to find out who he/she was. Trini Jungle Juice would like to thank Immortelle Promotions for granting us access and wonderful hospitality.
