Jumbie... Jumbie dem.... Rahhhhhhh!!! That's all ah was seein' when ah walked into Iron Pot for the 4th Annual Scream D'Halloween Fete.... JUMBIES!!!!! When ah tell yuh ah get scared boy, whey! I probably reach down to Scarborough just before 11pm and de crowd was already flowing in. No later than 12 o'clock, there was at least 300 people in de building and about 92% ah de people were dressed in costume ~ which I must say made de fete even sweeter. From frisky Police Officer's to Hooter's girls to Pimp's, anything yuh could of imagined for Halloween was inside de fete. It's like Halloween brings out de freak in some people because some of de costumes we saw were rhel missin' material.... haha!!! No scene though, all de ladies and fellas were looking good. There were some UNIQUE costumes, especially de fella who won $300 for best costume, dressed as ah "Snake Charmer" (if yuh blow on he whistle, he snake will cum!) LOL!!! Very impressive, and yet again the winner of de best costume competition for de 2nd year!

Now this fete was brought to you by Soca Sweetness and Islandboyz, with ah DJ lineup that was rhel sweeeeeeet... D'Bandit, marXman and of course Soca Sweetness were ALL there to mashup d'fete in truth! On de mic we had S.K.F (dressed as "The Champ") and in de building blessin' us with his presence was MC Dirty Dez bussin' ah lime!

The vibe kicked off as soon as chunes started to play. Do you remember Fortress days?!! That kinda fete vibe?!! Well for some reason, that was de vibe at Iron Pot. When ah closed my eyes, ah coulda swear I was at Fortress, yes! Big chunes were spinnin' all night from ole' school Reggae to sweet Soca to some back in time chunes like "Thriller" there was non-stop wining! Ah even remember at one point in de night, Zoelah's "Go Down Low" was blastin' thru de speakers and when ah turned around to look at de crowd EVERYONE was on de floor. Man on woman, woman on man, woman alone... everyone in that fete was going down low!!!!

Fete going on, drinks passing and if yuh belly was grumbling yuh had something within' arms reach tuh eat. Yuh didn't even have to go outside, when ah tell yuh SERVICE!!! Big up to Iron Pot though, de food was wicked! If yuh ever eat at Iron Pot before, yuh need to try it! For me though, the best part ah de night was the candy they were giving out. Who remembers Popeye's candy?? When yuh growin' up yuh playin like yuh smokin' something and is really ah Popeye's candy stick yuh suckin' on... LOL.. It's been years since I ate ah pack, but truss me it went down SWEET! They gave out some bessss candies!! :-)

Things started to wind down just after 4ish, but even then people were still bruckin' loose in their costumes. Regardless of how tight or uncomfortable some of them were, everyone was partying hard and wishing de night wasn't over!! So ah message to those of you who didn't make it this year, start looking for yuh costume early come next year because Scream 5 will be even sweeter!!! Ah already have ah lil' ting in mind!
