So we down in Miami where party cyar done, so you already know that as long as the fete going on, TJJ will be in attendance. True to form, we arrived at the Lauderhill residence ready to mash up d place. As expected, nuff tunes were already playing as we moved on the inside. As I was thinking about why we were covering this event, I found myself getting rel excited. Why? Because Band launching = Miami Carnival coming soon!!!! Lawdddd!!! Ah can't wait. Matter of fact ... ah ready! Time to wine, get on bad, walk a mile and a half and tay-lay-lay! Oh gosh ... alright alright. Let me calm down. Back to the situation at hand.

So here we are in Lauderhill, Florida, at the Mascots International Band Launching. Boom ... we on the inside and we doing what we do best. Tunes by the house DJ Super Jigga TC had the crowd moving from early on. With a good mix of oldies but goldies and the latest hits, it didn't take long for the wining and the jamishness to start. And with everybody coming for a good vibe, that is exactly what we had at the party.

Not long after the crowd starting getting thick, yuh know it was time to look for some sustinance. Off to the kitchen and bar and allyuh boy Mr. Benz was in heaven. With a nice list of drinks to choose from, it was only a matter of time until the corn soup was callin mih name. I eh know what they put in that corn soup nah, but bet yuh bottom dollar that I will be back next year for a cup ... or four! Big up to Aunty and dem, yes! After dealing with the corn soup allyuh boy returned to the dance floor to tear it up. The massives was having a good time, so much so that the place starting pushing a heat. So it was out to the pool side to relax and catch my breath.

But just when you thought that the pace slowed down, it was time for the main show - out came the models!!! This year’s presentation is called "Dance of the Spirits", and I don’t think they could have selected a better name, because those lovely ladies looked simply heavenly. With four gorgeous models giving us just a tease of what will be coming right around the corner for Broward Carnival, I know fuh sure what band I will be jumping up with when October come round. The Mascots Int'l promoters will have their hands full making costumes. The models did the costumes justice, and the men in the crowd didn’t hesitate to let them know. Yes, allyuh know what I talking bout ... don’t let mih have to spell it out.

Well is pretty woman in the place, drinks flowing, styles running and we done gone past 4 in d morning! Niceness all around... not to mention that we one day closer to the road !!! So all in all, the band launching was a success. Many thanks to Christine and the whole Mascots crew for having us, and play like yuh doh know we will be back next year! Good luck and happy wining!
