The Trinidad and Tobago Organisation of Pharmacy Students (TTOPS) is a non-profit student organisation dedicated to fostering strong relations within the student population, faculty administrators and the wider community.

This year TTOPS Executive 2008-2009 coordinated many events targeted towards the development of The School of Pharmacy. One of these events was the TTOPS Annual Charity Fashion Show in support of The Just Because Foundation and The Tallman Foundation. The show was patronised by local celebrities such as Gabrielle Walcott, Anya Ayoung Chee, Chynee, 645, Hitman, Ravi B and others and the event was recognised with great reviews which surpassed standards of past years.

The most recent event was the TTOPS Annual Banquet and Awards Ceremony held in the breath-taking ambience of Gaston Court Ballroom, Chaguanas, under the theme 'Passionate about Pharmacy Practice'. The evening was filled with celebration, gratitude, and praise as the school's top performers and achievers were honoured.

After taking the time to appreciate these outstanding performers (and of course having dinner) it was straight after party like no other... in true 'pharm' style... with a surprise guest performance by Ziggy Rankin who blew the crowd away with his tantalizing voice and invigorating tunes! Of course, the excitement only started there as the party continued way into the wee hours of the morning.

So, we honoured our students, praised our lecturers, gave back to the community, wined and dined and were entertained... all in the true spirit of dedication towards our practice of pharmacy. The night was truly one of Passion with a purpose.
