What's up my Kings and Queens? It's your girl Mix Juice again up front and center with the low down on the Ultra All-Inclusive Bliss Fete. Very reminiscent of a Brian Lara fete, this party did not disappoint. Everyone was dressed down to the nines and ready to jump and wuk up!

Beautifully decorated and lit, when one first arrives you are greeted by numerous bars ready to quench your thirst and an array of different foods sure to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters. I know this for certain because I definitely ate everything and anything from each of the food stations ... what? All that dancing works up an appetite! Ammm ... can you say Martini bar? Talk about classy, there was a special enclosed bar that specifically served only martinis. I have to say, it was pretty damn sexy!

I will say that at first glance, the most avid of Caribbean music listeners might have gotten vex when hearing the DJ because he was playing straight Soca but Mix Juice to the rescue. I walked over to my DJ and found out that there was someone coming that was going to be playin' strict Dancehall and Reggae after his set was over soooo I pushed my bumpa back over to the dancefloor and whined until I slipped into the Bogle. Wheeeey chunes! There was something for everyone and the DJ played all the classics. I felt like I was back in time, all yuh heard was "wheeeey" throughout the crowd! I mingled with friends, old and new, from the US and from the Caribbean because you know basically all of NY and Trinidad was up in that fete! Suddenly out of the corner of my eye I saw a short red girl with curly hair. I tapped her on the shoulder and we both started shrieking with laughter. I finally, FINALLY got to meet my VJ counterpart Panidad in the flesh (photo). After chatting it up, the TJJ girls stepped into action, snapping pictures of happy fete goers and whiner girls and boys.

Now remember, this fete starts at 3pm and ends at 10pm (West Indian talk for 11pm) and I have to say, I am a huge fan of day fetes. You leave feeling refreshed enough to remember to take your makeup off when you reach back to your room. Bliss, you definitely lived up to your name, I left feeling nothing short of happy and revved up for the next lime!! smile
